Dear Valued Customer:

Firmware version 014 is now available for download from your local Vivax-Metrotech website. The new firmware update will change the video recording format from the current .avi format to the .mp4 format. After the update is installed, all videos from that point on will be recorded in the .mp4 video format.

If any .avi files are on the control modules hard drive, they will not be affected by the update. You will still be able to view the .avi files that were previously recorded.

The firmware update is available on our website on the vCam-6 HD Inspection System webpage in the Firmware section under Download. Firmware update instructions are available in the same section as the download file.
